  Per Barb: "1900 MO census he is a foreman in a shoe co. fBelgian mHolland. Baptismal record gives his exact date of birth: St. Kevin's Baptismal Records, p. 67: Year 1882, day 10 month July. I baptized Joseph Peter born 9 July 1882 to Peter Mandeville and Virginia Van Tourenhaut. Godparents: Joseph Peters and Jennie Vermast. E.J. Shea, pastor. Death date and birth year from tombstone. Obit: Mandeville-Entered into rest of Thursday, May 16, 1918 at 4:45 p.m. after a short illness in his 36th year, Joseph P. Mandeville, beloved husband of Mattie Mandeville (nee Gebhardt), father of Evelyn and Victor Mandeville, our dear brother, son-in-law and brother-in-law. Funeral will be held from family residence, 3621 Tennessee Ave on Monday, May 20 at 8:30 a.m. to St. Pius Church, thence to SS. Peter and Paul's Cemetery. Motor."
