Notes	From Silverlake, IN. In 1880 census he's a druggist, father born in Kentucky, mom in VA. With his wife and 2 daughters, Martha Cuffel, 14, sister, is also living with the family Alvin left his daughter Florence with a "Pictorial Family Record" (notebook published 1881) listing his parents, grandparents and in-laws. From his record book, Military Record of Alvin Robinson: He first enlisted July 22, 1863 at Warsaw, IN; mustered out March 1, 1864 at Indianapolis; original rank Private; company G 118th Indiana Volunteers Infantry. He re-enlisted Feb. 21, 1865 in Co D 152nd Regt Ind Vol Infty to serve one year or during the war. Discharged at Charleston W. Va August 18th, 1865 by reason of expiration of the war.
